  • In 2012, Indians were traveling around 21,902 Thousand trips abroad for Business, MICE and Leisure purposes. Nearly 4 per cent (approx 500 Thousand) of the total India outbound tourist was traveled for MICE purpose in 2012 .During that period, they expend nearly INR 452 Billion. It is predicted that by 2015, Indians will travel abroad around 21,902 Thousand trips and they will expend INR 604 Billion during their trips.
  • Indian outbound MICE market was estimated to be around US$ 550-600 Million in 2013. It grew strongly and resulted in an outbound trip volume of 6.2 Million, with around 1.5-1.8 Million Indians travelling outbound only for MICE.
