Founded in 2005, ICSI (International Chamber for Service Industry), was formed to represent the interests of a network of Service Industry stakeholders, aiming at updating its members regarding all the aspects that affect businesses in a rapidly changing financial and technological environment, so that individuals and organizations stay competitive in today’s dynamic business world.
ICSI is a platform to bring together all the segments of the Service Industry, so as to enable collaboration in the pursuit of establishing a robust forum for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The forum facilitates exchange of ideas and best practices in the Service Industry. It brings together Policy makers, Industry experts, Entrepreneurs and Individuals to deliberate on issues and aspects pertaining to the Service Industry.
The forum gives the right impetus to innovative emerging trends so as to generate employment and entrepreneurial opportunities in the services sectors like Health, Education and Research, Media and Entertainment, Travel and Tourism, IT and Communication, Logistics, Public Utilities, Government Services, Hospitality Services, Business Services, HR Services, Event Management Services, Real Estate, Skills development, Consultancies and Industrial Services.
ICSI also aims at changing the skill landscape of the nation by providing the requisite skills to the ever increasing Human Resource, so as to enable them to contribute their optimum best to the Service Industry.
In its NRI Network, ICSI has undertaken initiatives to bring the Indian diaspora to contribute to the Indian economy by way of greater involvement in strengthening its financial muscle by bringing to fore their readiness to contribute to their soil.
